The Keene Board of Education meets as a full board once a month as do its four standing committees:Building Facilities and Ancillary Services, Education, Finance, and Personnel Each committee has its own page on this web site. To view each committee, direct links are provided above.
The regularly scheduled monthly meetings of the Keene Board of Education start at 6:30 p.m. and are held in the LGIA (Large Group Instruction Area) at Keene High School, 43 Arch Street, Keene. The meetings are televised live on Cheshire TV, Channel 8. If you don't have cable, you may watch the meeting on the internet via CheshireTV.org.
Note: Agendas are typically available the Thursday before the meeting. Published minutes will be posted upon approval. The agendas and minutes listed below that are underlined are available for viewing on the web. If the agendas or minutes are not available on the web, please contact Diane Freitas 357-9002 Ext. 223 to ask to have them sent to you. To view either the agenda or minutes, click in the appropriate box to download the document. (You will need Adobe Acrobat to view them.) If you don't have access to a computer or don't have the ability to download the documents, paper copies are available in the superintendents' office at 193 Maple Avenue, Keene. Please contact Diane Freitas, dfreitas@sau29.org/357-9002 Ext. 223 to obtain a copy. The Board doesn't usually meet in July but does in August unless otherwise posted. The August date will be posted in June 2011.
